1949 Chevrolet 3100

1949 Chevrolet 3100 Classic Truck – 350 Crate Motor This 1949 Chevrolet 3100 is a beautifully upgraded classic truck that blends vintage Chevrolet character with modern drivability and comfort. The 3100 pickup is one of the most iconic post-war Chevrolet truck designs, known for its rounded body lines, timeless stance, and strong collector appeal. This truck keeps that classic feel while adding several meaningful upgrades that make it more enjoyable and usable on the road. Power comes from a 350 crate motor with a mild cam, paired with a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. It also features an aluminum radiator, electronic ignition, power steering, power disc brakes, new gas tank, new alternator, and rear-wheel drive. These upgrades give the truck a much more practical driving experience while still preserving the personality of a classic Chevrolet pickup. Comfort and appearance upgrades include air conditioning and heat, updated upholstery and interior, a new steering wheel, and a new rear bumper. It is described as a daily driver with many upgrades, while still retaining original cosmetic pieces that remind you the truck was built more than 75 years ago. That balance of upgraded performance and vintage character makes it a strong option for buyers who want a classic truck they can actually enjoy.
